My Source for Books

I get books from various places.

  • Amazon.com
    • I have been shopping here since 1999.  Very good service.
  • Christianbook.com
    • I have shopped with them so long that I do not know when I started.  Service has always been good.
  • Barnes & Noble store and Barnesandnoble.com
  • Ebay.com
  • Half.com
    • Books prices are so reasonable.  Great place for DVDs and video games.
  • Books swaps with friends and family
  • Gifts from friends and family
  • Local book sale at school
    • These sales are great.  At the end of the day, they would have a bag sale for $5.  All the books I could fit in a bag for $5...wonderful!
  • Local Christian bookstores
    • I am sad to say that all of the Christian bookstores that I use to shop in are gone.  I miss the enviroment of a Christian bookstore and the people.
  • Public Library
    • Libaries deserve our support.  Remember them with your donations through United Way.
  • Programs that offer free books in exchange for a review. (I am not asked to give a positive review just an honest one.)
    • Bethany House Publishers
    • Blogging for Books - Waterbrook Multnomah Publishing Group
    • BookSneeze (print & eBooks)
    • NetGalley (eBooks)
